Sarah Karl (she/her) is a scenic designer for theater, opera, dance, film, and live events. She grew up in Miami, Florida where she received formalized training in the fine arts, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. With a love for storytelling and a desire to work in a collaborative setting, Sarah embarked on a journey into theater.

 

Sarah holds an M.F.A. in scenic design from the Yale School of Drama, as a recipient of the  Donald and Zorka Oenslager Scholarship in Stage Design. She also has a B.F.A from SUNY Purchase in scenic design, with a minor in visual arts. Sarah is a proud member of USA Local 829.​
