Sarah Karl (she/her) is a scenic designer for theater, film, television, and live events. She grew up in Miami, Florida where she received formalized training in the fine arts, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. With a love for storytelling and a desire to work in a collaborative setting, Sarah embarked on a journey into theater.

 

Sarah holds an M.F.A. in scenic design from the Yale School of Drama, as a recipient of the  Donald and Zorka Oenslager Scholarship in Stage Design. She also has a B.F.A from SUNY Purchase in scenic design, with a minor in visual arts. Sarah is a proud member of USA Local 829.​
